Trains and Buses

This TriMet MAX Red Line wooden train runs from Portland International Airport to Hillsboro Airport/Fairgrounds, and is modeled after the Type 6, its newest light-rail vehicle. Designed by Tiny Track Toys, a local Portland company, and officially licensed by TriMet, this train is a perfect companion to our TriMet bus or a fun stand-alone toy for any transit fan!

The train features magnets on both ends, making it easy to connect with other trains. It’s compatible with all major wooden train brands, including Brio, Hape, KidKraft, Melissa & Doug, Thomas & Friends, Maxim, and IKEA.

With wheels that move, the bus can run on or alongside wooden train tracks. Please note it does not have magnets and does not connect to other trains or buses.
